 Multi-Level Marketing is a business model that’s hugely popular on the net. You’ll see many people, especially online marketers, who are really attracted to the concept of building a downline, then expecting to stop working while others earn money for them.

 But that’s a very critical flaw in thinking because the only way to find success in any business is to put in the work. But to discuss what’s real: there are very many marketing approaches you can use that will go far to bring you success in this business.

 Keep reading to find out just a few approaches you can implement that will improve your chances of MLM success.

 It’s smart to teach and help your downline recruits, but never volunteer to do the work that they need to do. It’s just an obvious point that all people in this business need to do for themselves. If you do their jobs for them, they will never learn how to make money for themselves on their own.

 You can teach them, then show them how it’s done and expect them to follow your lead. If you fail to do that, you might as well just be an affiliate marketer in any business. If you want to be a leader and prosper in MLM, then you must do your job as a leader.

 Be as patient as you can. Time is the one thing a profitable business needs to have. Don’t give up too easily. You’ll see better results, if you can work your business each day for at least a short period. 

 In the beginning it will feel like you’re putting in a lot of work for very little results. You’ll see, if you do not give up, your day will come when it will all be worth it.

 Have realistic income plans. You can expect to put in a lot of effort and earn respectable money, in time. If you work at being patient, you’re less likely to stress over it. It’s possible that you might earn more by being more relaxed.

 Don’t fall into the trap, thinking you’ll just wait until the timing is better, or some perfect time to do it. If you wait for conditions to be perfect, you won’t ever get started. Just get started on your business plan, today.

 Have faith in your ability to figure things out as you’re moving along. As you make mistakes you can change your approach to MLM and find success in other areas. That will serve you well no matter what kind of business you’re in.

 The best way to learn good lessons is our own mistakes. So never be afraid to make mistakes because they’re part of life.

 Some people feel a bit timid when they first get started. You probably signed up thinking you’d be making hundreds of dollars within a few hours.

 Hopefully you understand and accept that this business requires hard work and persistence. This business is just like any other legitimate online business. But you can get the kind of income you dream of but only if you do the work.

  Having a good Upline and a Team to work with makes all the difference! Look for a sponsor that has systems in place that will help you to automate a lot of the work.

For Example: Everyone says the fortune is in the follow up, we agree BUT the follow up has to be with the right people! Meaning follow up with people who have asked you for information about your MLM business or product.

 So to automate the follow up process, you need to have an autoresponder email system put in place, so that when people ask you for more info, they opt in to your system and start receiving automated emails that have been written beforehand, either by you or like our system we give our team the emails we already wrote so it’s done for you, which saves a lot of time there.

 With a regular autoresponder like Aweber for example, you can only see if they opened your email and if they clicked on a link and that’s it.

 The Lead Recruiter Pro system we use, when you send out a follow up message, you can actually see who is reading your emails and who is taking action on the information you are sending them, if you sent them a video to watch you can see if they watched it and for how long they watched it.

 Based on what kind of actions they take, they’re assigned points, the more actions they take the more points they get, and it automatically creates a Hot prospect list for you, that way you only follow up with the people taking action because they’re obviously serious about making money with you.

I wrote this Blog to help you be aware, or at least consider these options before joining any Network Marketing company.

To many times in the past I have just joined someone in their business because I was distracted by all the shiny objects that were dangled in front of me … you know things like… If you join today, I’ll help you get that $500.00 Fast Start bonus in your first 2 weeks!!

Well it didn’t exactly turn out to be all that I thought it would be, Because I failed to ask these very important questions for long term growth.

Isn’t that why we join a Network Marketing company to create a Residual income from home, and the end goal is Time Freedom?

To have enough money coming in every week so we can go and do whatever it is that we love? That’s my goal anyway!!

So why didn’t it work? (I never even made the $500 bonus)

Because first of all, I didn’t ask the right questions therefore I was doomed to fail from the start. I see it happen all the time and it’s sad really, but if you don’t know what to ask, how are you supposed to know Right?

Which is why I created this checklist to Help you set yourself up for Success!😊

#1. How much time is required to actually build this and be successful? 

Most people have a full time job and they’re looking for a way to get out of that job because they have no time freedom. So if you’re talking to a 6 figure a month earner and they tell you that you can do this part time or in your spare time, pay attention to how much they are working! My upline worked 16 hours a day in her Network Marketing business!! The reason she worked so many hours was because she was working harder, not smarter.

You need a system that allows you to work smarter!

#2. What kind of System do you have that will allow Me to Duplicate so My downline will have success too? 

Very important question to ask, cause if your downline isn’t duplicating you won’t have much success. I was told that they have a Plug ‘n’ Play system in place that everyone is using and it’s easy to use and once I had joined I would have full access to it. Well if I had known before joining, I would have asked for proof to see the system and explain to me exactly how it worked! Because what they had in place is not something I could do …which leads to question number 3.

We use this System to get leads, track them and convert to sales. Works for any type of MLM.

#3. How am I going to get people to buy from me?

Where are your leads going to come from? If you don’t have leads you don’t have a business. Some say we will teach you all about Social media marketing, you can send a ‘done for you’ copy & paste message to all your Facebook friends…Well what if you don’t like to be on social media all day long, posting about this, that and the other?

Your next option is to make a list of 100 people you know, like anyone you’ve ever come in contact with in your entire life…your friends & Family, Doctor, lawyer, hair stylist, dentist, class mates from school and just anybody you can possibly think of, and now you’re supposed to reach out to all of them and tell them about your very awesome once in a lifetime product or opportunity… Sound familiar? 

Do you want to work that way?

How about teaching your downline to work that way?

#4. Does the Company Offer an Auto-ship Reward?

This is a great advantage if a company rewards their affiliates for being on an active autoship. First of all it helps you to earn points or credits you can use to purchase different products, AND it also helps your downline team members be more inclined to stay on autoship as well, which is what everyone should be doing anyway to generate volume, so if they get rewarded for doing that it's a win-win for everyone.

#5. Is the Market already Saturated with this product or similar products? 

If everyone and their grandma is already selling the product you will have to come up with a way to stand out among the 10 thousand other distributors selling the exact same thing. Don’t get me wrong, you can absolutely be successful even if everyone already knows about it. Just be clear that you will have to be Creative and create more value than everyone else so that people want to buy from you. It takes a little more time but it is doable!

And you must know If there's even a market need for what you offer! Have you done the research to see if people are even buying your companies products?

Those are the 5 things that if I had asked them, would've saved me a lot of frustration.
